IDC Quality Assurance Guidelines for Individuals and Facilities
IDC recognizes the need to support individuals as they progress through the continuum of care. Our Quality Assurance (QA)/ Quality Improvement (QI) system provides four levels of health service access through a health assessment protocol system Health Status and Treatment (HSTI) that has been used for over 30 years in various clinical settings.
The system is based upon the foundation that quality assurance for health care services is best addressed by evaluating the relative health status of the target population. The structure, process and outcome are based on a uniform documentation system combined with oversight and feedback. The major medical services from basic medical assessment, dental care and psychiatric care are addressed as well as adjunctive care such as podiatric, nutrition and other services.
